Terry Denk.

Moved to Florida in 1962. Grew up in Sebring watching the annual 12 hour races there. In 1969 I watched the Gulf Ford GT 40 driven by Oliver and Ickx win, which is where I fell in love with the Gulf racing colors. I had a 1964 Corvair that I drove through high school. Had several motorcycles and raced motocross.

Purchased my current car, a 1965 Corvair Monza, in 2001 and raced autocross with it for several years. It has several modifications to the engine including a Carter AFB 4bbl carb with an IECP downdraft manifold, Dual trombone exhaust, a Corsa dash and gauges, electronic ignition, forged pistons, an Isky cam and a 4-spider differential.

It sat in my garage for 10 years until I started restoring it last year. New wheels and brakes, body work complete and new paint job in Gulf racing colors. Next will be a new top and interior.
