I grew up in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, and worked in the automotive repair industry for 50 years. For 25 of those years I owned my own repair shop. In 2023 I purchased this 1985 Studebaker Avanti in Brooksville, Florida. It was most definitely a barn find. Working on it has its own challenges, since the parts come from many different car brands. I still have a ways to go, but I'm getting there little by little. It's a great car to drive and I enjoy showing it at car shows. I often get asked, "What kind of car is this?" or "I've heard of those but have never seen one in real life." It's fun to tell them a brief history of this rare car.
